- During the transportation of activated carbon, it should be prevented from mixing with hard substances, and should not be stepped on or stepped on to prevent the carbon particles from being broken and affecting the quality.
- Storage should be stored in porous adsorbents, so in the process of transportation, storage and use, it is necessary to absolutely prevent water immersion, because after water immersion, a large amount of water fills the active voids, making it useless.
- To prevent tar substances from being brought into the activated carbon bed during use, so as not to block the void of activated carbon and make it lose its adsorption effect. It is best to have decoking equipment to purify the gas.
- When the fireproof activated carbon is stored or transported, prevent direct contact with the fire source to prevent ignition, and avoid oxygen intake and regenerate thoroughly when the activated carbon is regenerated, and it must be cooled to below 80 °C with steam after regeneration, otherwise the temperature is high, and the activated carbon will spontaneously combust when exposed to oxygen.
